For ex-Shuqunites who are interested to join us in the BBQ Party on 31st May 2009,
PLEASE BE REMINDED,
TICKETS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN THE GENERAL OFFICE OF SHUQUN PRIMARY SCHOOL.

However, it may be, may be, possible that tickets can be sold to you all on the BBQ night itself. One ticket costs about $10plus if I'm not wrong. So, hurry and make your way down to Shuqun for your tickets.

hello eh.
we had a so-called "exco meeting" at macs today.
settled a few things abt th upcoming BBQ party.
what we need now is of course th help of all th members in th Junior Alumni.

hello, i'am back.

apparently, i'am not sure what's happening now.

no new members yet. let's just recount how many members we have till now.

angela, beeying, calvin, claudia, devika, huiru, jasmine, jingtian, jooyee, megan, regina, rui en, shimin, wangxuan,weishi, weixuan, wilna.

okay, it's a handful of us. well, personally, i think it's okay if we just stay as it is. the quantity doesnt show much anyway. it's th quality that counts.

SO, basically, we are involved in the BBQ party on 30th MAY 2009.

and so, we need as much help as possible. i cannot tell you exactly who's in what thingy, like logistics..etc. i dont have superb memory, but for me, i'am currently trying to churn out a design for our tee and i'am looking for sponsors. my psychic powers arent working, so sorry.

therefore, if you all have anymore enquiries it would be better if you ask jooyee, zimin or weishi. i cant give you exact details. sigh, not very efficient as a blog mistress huh? -____-

I have decided to have different roles in our club, something like the EXCO! And to be fair to everybody, we will NOT have any presidents or vice presidents.
Here are the roles:

#001 Blog master [THREE ]
The blog masters is able to gain excess to this blog and also update regularly on current affairs and events.
They are supposed to keep in touch with every member and update the blog weekly.
These people cannot post any entries that has nothing to do with the blog and cannot give ANYBODY the password of this blog.

#002 Events Organizer [TWO heads, THREE members]
The two heads will oversee all the events.
This includes the club outings that happens annually and also monthly meetings.
They will come up with an idea and the three members will create a proposal based on the idea which will be handed in to the two heads.
The three members have to consider the day/time, venue and other relavant details.
The proposal will then be handed to Ms Zeng to review.

#003 Treasurer [TWO]
These people will be in charge of collecting funds for the club.
These funds can be used for our future outings or used for the school events.
They will also have to attend ALL the monthly meetings to collect the funds.

#004 Secretary [TWO]
These two people are supposed to record down details during our meetings.
They can use a laptop of their own or write own a piece of paper.
Prefably, using a laptop.
At least ONE of the two people have to attend the meetings and submit the notes to the blog master.
The blog masters will update the blog according to the notes.

#005 Network Manager [TWO]
These people will be in charge of informing the other members of the upcoming events.
They will have the contacts of all members.

#006 Promotions [TWO]
These people will help to promote our club and gather more people to join this junior alumni.

New start. New beginning. New blog!
Guess what?
Shuqun's very own sky garden (roof top garden) was opened on the 8th August 08.
All 83 plants in this garden was donated by one of our alumni member - Mr. Tan Peng Kheok (Chairman / Managing Director of Princes Flower Shop Pte Ltd).

We greatly appreciate the time and effort of those who helped made this possible!! (=
